(911 A-Team)

 

The mission of the Laclede County 911 Advisory Board is to provide the citizens of Laclede County, including all cities, with a 911 system that effectively integrates and utilizes departmental, civic, and community resources to protect and secure life and property, preserve law and order, and enforce state laws and city ordinances within the framework of the constitution.

  •        The 911 A-Team will not govern issues of HR, (hiring or firing).
  •        The 911 A- Team will not govern issues involving equipment purchase.
  •         The daily 911 accomplishment and or complaints will continue to
  •         be routed to the 911 director in writing.
  •        The 911 A-Team will report directly to the Laclede County Commission.

In order to realize these goals, every member of the 911 A-Team must continually direct his/her efforts in the following areas by:

#1   Realizing the 911 employees are a very important part of the organization and the A Team should strive to help them in the performance of their duties

#2   Recognizing the spirit of our 911 system, as one of helping people, and providing assistance at every opportunity

#3   Enlightening citizen’s attitudes toward public safety and striving to gain community support in the suppression of criminal activity, and fires

#4   Developing 911 leadership throughout the fire, police, ems, and emergency services, while utilizing allocated resources for maximum productivity

#5   To direct aggressive response to criminal activity, emergencies, and fire, throughout the jurisdiction while safeguarding the right of citizens

#6   Consistently cross training telecommunications to implement one plan of action used for all fire departments and law enforcement officers that would be simple to follow,

yet maintaining top shelf efficiency, with the  highest degree of integrity of professionalism
